Prayer meetings

Early Morning Prayer (Weekdays) 8am at St Mary’s

Every weekday morning a small group gathers in the St Catherine’s chapel for morning prayer. This quiet service includes the readings and psalms set for the day, as well as space for silent reflection and prayer before the busyness of the day begins. It lasts approximately 25 minutes. Everyone is welcome.

Do join us if you can. Also, if you are just passing, stop for a short while to pause and offer the day to God before continuing on your way.

Into His Presence

Prayer and Worship meetings on Wednesday evenings, check our calendar for specific dates.

Choirs

We are always happy to welcome new members to sing in our choir. Choir practice is on Thursday evenings. Please contact the church office for more details.

Battle Choral Society

The community is served with the dulcet music of Battle Choral Society.

Created over 120 years ago, Battle Choral Society has been the premier vocal group, supporting the town by raising its musical profile. They produce three major concerts every year, held in St Mary the Virgin Church, Battle, usually in April, October and at Christmas. As well as these showstopping events, the Choral Society participates in special events, most recently at, the 'Lighting the Beacon' ceremony, to commemorate D-Day.

The Choral Society rehearses in the Benedicta Whistler Centre, the side extension at St Mary's, every Monday evening starting at 7.30pm and finishing at 9:30pm, with a break in the middle.
